Efficiency NB provides advice and financial incentives to help with the construction of your energy efficient new home through the Residential Energy Efficiency Program so you can enjoy permanent energy savings.
To qualify for financial incentives for an energy efficient new home*, simply click and follow these four easy steps: 
*Including detached, semi-detached or row houses. To qualify a home must complete the energy evaluation and apply for program incentives within 6 months of occupancy.
Please note: The Climate Change Action Plan of the Government of New Brunswick encourages an off-electricity heating strategy for residential buildings. New homes that use electric heat resistance equipment as their primary heating system are not eligible for Efficiency NB incentives. What qualifies as an electric resistance heat source? Electric baseboard, electric boilers, electric in-floor heating and electric furnaces are electric resistance heat sources.
