Efficiency NB and the following builders are making it easy for New Brunswick homebuyers to purchase Energy Efficient Rated New Homes that are: EnerGuide 83 Certified Homes or meet all of Efficiency NB's Energy Efficiency Specifications.

These builders will, for all homes to be sold as EnerGuide 83 or higher:

• Have the home plan pre-evaluated to meet the requirements of EnerGuide 83 or higher by a licensed New Home EnerGuide rating Service Provider;
• Be responsible to build all homes in accordance with the pre-evaluation report and will ensure that the home attains the EnerGuide 83 or higher and includes all relevant Efficiency NB Energy Efficiency Specifications with the post evaluation;
• Offer options in the Purchase and Sales Agreement Contract to provide energy efficiency upgrades as lighting, appliances, and others; and
• Indicate in the Purchase and Sales Agreement / Contract, a line item showing the financial incentive provided by Efficiency NB, (which can be transferred to the builder)
