FAQs

What is the goal of the program – reduction of energy use or greenhouse gas emission reductions?

A: Both. The goal of the program is to assist Industry in improving competitiveness and productivity through the implementation of energy efficiency projects. Although net energy use is the primary focus, emission reductions are a key outcome that also results from such projects being implemented. The primary goal is to assist New Brunswick industries to reduce cost (save money) or increase productivity (increase revenue) through energy efficiency.
